Plan De Corones Dolomiti

Wow is this post a little old, but it should not be forgotten, because we had a wonderful time with a ski crew including Cindy and David, Jerry, Ian, Matt and Ashley, Matt, and me.  We drove to the dolomites to ski the last ski weekend and what else can I say besides awesome German influenced food, great skiing, great company, awesome views.....I will shut up and show the pictures!

A little San Lorenzo Al Mare on the Italian Riviera

Last Thursday we had a spur of the moment idea to go check out the Italian Riviera before the hotel prices enter high season and we are so glad we did.  We had a fabulous hotel in San Lorenzo al mare with a private beach.  I read about a 25km bike and pedestrian only path that runs from San Lorenzo Al Mare to a little past San Remo.  This path was fantastic!  You had a beautiful view of the sea, no cars, and the area around the path was well taken care of with landscaping.

On Sunday we checked out a town called Bussana Vecchia.  This town had a major earthquake in the 1800's and was abandoned until the 1960's when several artists rebuilt the town and made it their own.  This is probably one of the cutest towns I have been to.
