Our first weekend in Italy was so exciting and we just couldn't pick a place to go! So we decided to drive up Lake Maggiore (very popular holiday area for the Italians) and see what the towns are like. Here are a few pictures of the drive. We will spend more time in some of these towns in the future:
Later in the day we went with our friends Steve and Ashley and their dog Rocky to Lake Orta. Lake Orta is a very picturesque town with a great walking path around the lake:
